W5 Networks Nets Investment from SunBridge

FREMONT, CA  -  W5 Networks, a retail store shelf display company, announced the addition of SunBridge Partners to its investment roster of Series B investors.  The amount of the new investment was not disclosed.

The company’s product allows for automatic updating of shelf labels, reducing or eliminating the need for manual updates.  The new information is downloaded to the Electronic Shelf Label, or ESL, via a wireless link.

The previous closing of the round totaled $12 million, received from Frazier Technology Ventures, Thomas Weisel Partners and US Venture Partners.

The company will continue developing and enhancing their solution with the new funds.
